I did it my way...

June Callwood is one of Canada's greatest journalists, authors and advocates for social justice. She was diagnosed with inoperable cancer in 2004 and was admitted to hospital last week. She gave her last interview to George Stroumboulopoulos on The Hour on CBC. She's an amazing woman and George does a fantastic interview. If we could all embody her spirit and positivity, the world would be a much better place.

I haven't seen this interview yet, but have heard amazing things about it. One of my library's volunteers saw it - she's a 60-year old cancer survivor herself - and she told me how impressed she was by this "lovely young man" and his interviewing skills. Ah, George, you appeal to all the generations. :)

You can view the interview on The Hour's website. It's really amazing! I've watched it about 10 times. George has really outdone himself on this one. He's a very sensitive interviewer and it shows. *sigh*
