:D Those numbers are impressive. It'll be great when that goes ahead, but I see what you're saying. Thats a long time. Surely it doesn't take that many years to get ready? After all they're just bulbs.
Pass the law, stop the shops from buying the bulbs, reduce the costs of the more efficient ones and its...done. Thats how it works in my head anyway :)
That's what I thought too. I'm sure it's probably more complicated from the manufacturing end but 5 years really seems like a long time.
Hopefully a lot of people will just stop buying the incandescent bulbs sooner than that. I know I already have.
